In an iterative service design process covering customer experience, business design and technology, we developed a service system for an automotive company that provides various small services to drivers in oder to help them organize their mobility. A smartphone app was the main touchpoint, supplemented by an RFID card. Later, the service was supposed to be integrated into the car itself.

Our team started with an experience prototype to simulate the look and feel of the service. Then some required infrastructure elements where prototyped with Arduino and Rasberry Pi. In a technical showcase with real infrastructure partners (charging stations, parking service providers) the feasibility was tested before the first pilot with real users could be rolled out.
